All Neptuny customers can receive worldwide support via web, mail or phone. Customers also have access to the product documentation and Knowledge Base from the Customer Portal website.
Neptuny products are supported on both physical and virtual environments, in particular for VMware environments. Neptuny supports customers running its products on virtualized environments according to the supported Operating System matrix described in the respective product documentation. Neptuny provides the same level of support for its products running on VMware virtual environment as for products running on physical systems without requiring issues to be first reproduced on native hardware. Should Neptuny suspect that the virtualization layer is the root cause of an incident, customers may be required to contact the appropriate VMware support provider to resolve the VMware issue. While Neptuny products are expected to function properly in VMware virtual environments, there may be performance implications which can invalidate typical sizing and recommendations. Please verify with Neptuny support the adequate infrastructure required to run Neptuny products at the required performance.
